About Us
LAPD Devonshire PALS focuses on servicing a diverse population of our community youth. We offer a broad range of afterschool programming. One of the most popular programs is our Agriculture program. The program focuses on teaching our youth the importance of gardening, harvesting, upkeeping, maintaining, and animal care. Currently we are caring for two pot belly pigs, 25 chickens, 1 turkey, 4 tortoises, and our Emu. The children assist with the overall farming aspect of our program. We provide fresh laid eggs from our chickens to our most needy families/community members, as well as fresh grown vegetables from our garden. As the program continues to expand, we are hoping to rescue more animals in need of a loving home. We invite you to come experience the wonderful environment our animals are animals belong to. If you are interested in donating or assisting please contact us directly @ 818-885-6433 ask for Officer Sanchez. We are a 501c3 Local Non-profit organization.
