Special Paws provides a forever home for up to 25 special needs small dogs that come from a variety of situations. We have dogs that are blind, deaf, three-legged, and paraplegic. Some are dealing with congestive heart failure, neurological disorders, cancer, diabetes, and arthritis. Most of them are seniors. They end-up here for many reasons. Many are abandoned and taken in by shelters and rescues. Because of their needs, they are often deemed unadoptable. Some have been relinquished when their owner could no longer care for them.
