How Chewy Gives Back
We launched Chewy Gives Back in 2012 to create a better world for pets and the communities that support them. Since then, we have donated more than $183M in food and essential supplies directly to pets in need. Thanks to our partnerships with global non-profit organizations, we have been able to give back to communities beyond just where we live and work.

Here’s what’s happening at Chewy
We donated $1M in pet food and supplies, through Greater Good Charities, to support the people and pets affected by the war in Ukraine. Pets always give their all, so we strive to do the same for them, no matter where they are.
We donated 80,000+ lbs of food to pets in need by pledging 1 lb of food for every letter submitted to our holiday program, Chewy Claus. One letter came from a rescue affected by Hurricane Ian. We sent 20,000 lbs of food and a volunteer team to help restore their beloved dog beach.
A man with a terminal illness had one wish—a wheelchair for his pup, Champ, who was born without front paws. We sent Champ a doggy wheelchair and other goodies, giving him the support he needed to continue to support his favourite human.
