About Us
Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Parksville, New York which rescues and rehabilitates farmed animals. The primary sanctuary focus is on rescuing and rehabilitating pigs, and in particular, pigs with special needs. Pig residents include abandoned, neglected, and abused pigs, and many of the residents are elderly, blind, obese, born with birth defects, or have other long term medical needs. Todd Friedman formed Arthur’s Acres Animal Sanctuary in 2018 after a simple property walkthrough turned into a rescue mission.
