CCRT is a small volunteer organization based out of Chesapeake VA. Named after our president and founder's rescued English Coonhound, Clifford. We are committed to humanely trapping at large strays (or owned pets) and changing their lives for the better. We also focus on Hound breeds in kill shelters that may not be the most adoptable due to fear in the shelter. As we are committed to the hounds we will not turn down a dog at risk who is not a hound! Step 1: Submit adoption application
Step 2: home check and reference checks
Step 3: when approved a meet and greet is encouraged, adopter must travel to foster home
Step 4: 2 week adoption trial is scheduled
