Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Services (FoBACS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting Berkeley Animal Care Services (BACS), the municipal open-admission animal shelter that serves the communities of Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Piedmont, CA. Our mission is to maximize the quality of life for the animals in BACS’s care by supporting humane education and shelter enrichment programs, medical care, adoptions, training, special projects, and other necessities.
