HOME Rescue is a dedicated team of caring volunteers (with no paid staff) whose goal is to reduce the population of homeless, neglected or unwanted animals by raising awareness through community education. There are roughly 2.4 million healthy, adoptable cats and dogs (about one every 13 seconds) put down in U.S. shelters each year. Often these animals are the offspring of cherished family pets. Spay/neuter is a proven way to reduce pet overpopulation, ensuring that every pet has a family to love them. We participate in community outreach programs and adoption events that advocate early spay and neuter programs and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts.
