LOKR is the only rescue in the Louisville and surrounding area whose mission is to care for orphaned kittens under six weeks of age who still need to nurse - "bottle babies." We promote a no-kill nation by providing an alternative to euthanasia for these most-vulnerable pets, and help reduce the population of homeless cats by ensuring that each kitten is spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested, and up to date on vaccines before being placed with a forever family.
