About Us
Overlooked Cat Refuge (OCR) is a 501(c)3 that is dedicated to raising awareness and providing rescue services for cats in our local Central Iowa area. There are many ways to get involved and help be a part of the cat overpopulation solution: whether you are looking to adopt the next member of your family, interested in fostering or volunteering, want to assist with trap-neuter-release (TNR) and community cat care, or would like to be a supporter and donor. Our goal is to provide a fear-free and compassionate refuge for all cats in our care while acting with kindness and respect for the lives of all felines in the community.
