About Us
The Pell City Animal Control Center is a temporary home to stray or lost animals during the Alabama State mandated 7 day holding period. Once the holding time is over, any unclaimed animal will be evaluated for possible adoption or transfer to an approved rescue. We also accept surrenders of owned pets within our jurisdiction. Surrendered animals are also evaluated for possible re-adoption or transfer to rescue. Animals with special needs or medical conditions will be considered for adoption or rescue transfer, with additional counseling provided to the prospective adopter.Find Us
