Pet Resource Center of Kansas City started in 2002 as Spay and Neuter Kansas City to provide high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter that would eventually eliminate euthanasia of dogs and cats because there wasn’t space for them.
Along the way, we realized there were more ways to help, more ways we could stop pet homelessness. Eventually, that meant we were on the streets helping pet owners with resources, pet food, education and supplies. And it meant a clinic that also helped with vaccinations, parasite treatment or prevention, as well as a special medical care.
