About Us
Springfield Kitty Cat Shack Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that started in the historic neighborhood of Springfield in Jacksonville, Florida. Our focus is primarily on taming feral kittens that are too big to go to Animal Care and Protective Services and not tame enough to go to the Humane Society. We work closely with cat colony caregivers and trappers and the Jacksonville community to provide adoption opportunities and forever homes to this often overlooked segment of the cat population. This often means caring for a sick kitty, trapping feral cats and kittens, and vetting and socializing feral kittens to make them adoption ready.Find Us
