The mission of DeSoto Animal Rescue Society is to be a voice for animals, giving them a better quality of life through foster care, adoption, pet overpopulation education, humane education and higher ideals of humanity towards all animals. The DeSoto Animal Rescue Society was established in 1998 when an urgent need was recognized for a countywide effort to find loving homes for abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals.
